Common Pathways recognizes MassCONECT and Dr. Vish Viswanath

Common Pathways, a coalition of Greater Worcester organizations and residents whose goal is to move toward a healthier community, held its Semi-Annual Report to the Community event on October 14, 2009.

Common Pathways recognized a number of founding organizational, neighborhood, and individual partners for their support and contributions. The Harvard School of Public Health and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's joint initiative, MassCONECT (Massachusetts Community Network to Eliminate Cancer Disparities Through Education Research and Training), was among the organizational partners awarded certificates of appreciation, and Vish Viswanath , as principal investigator, was recognized for his work with the program.

MassCONECT brings together researchers, policy makers, and communities to reduce cancer disparities in Boston, Lawrence, and Worcester, Massachusetts. Common Pathways is one of its community partners.
